Split the charter, keep the adventure

A small group picks a route, votes on the vessel, and splits the full cost of the charter — boat rental, skipper, fuel, port fees. You see every line. No markup, no guessing. Wild Workation runs the logistics so you can focus on who you sail with.
How a shared charter works

You pick the crew, we handle the charter

A shared charter is a small group of people who agree on a route, a window, and a boat, then split the full bill. Wild Workation runs the paperwork and the logistics. You get the yacht you would rent privately at a price that only makes sense because you are sharing it.

Full cost breakdown, every line open

Charter, skipper, fuel, port fees, deposit — each line shown up front, divided by the exact number of participants. No markup, no service fee, no "surprise extras" at the end. If the group grows, your share drops.

You vote on the vessel

Once enough people commit to a window, we send two or three boat options — catamaran, monohull, different sizes and price points. The group votes, the majority picks, and we book it on behalf of everyone.

Three clear stages, one calm flow

Open for joining → Vessel voting → Confirmed. You always know which stage a charter is in, what commitment it takes, and when your money actually moves. No mystery, no pressure.

Bring your group — or find one

Have four friends and need four more? List your window, keep your people, fill the rest from the community. Coming alone? Join an existing charter and meet the rest onboard during the planning calls.

Same boats, same skippers as no-worry

Run in partnership with RYC Sailing. The same IYT-certified captains, the same vetted fleet, the same safety procedures that power the all-inclusive offsites — you just hold the wallet.

Refundable deposit, honest cancellation

Security deposit is held, split equally, and refunded after the trip if nothing is damaged. If a charter does not gather enough people, every participant is refunded — including the skipper's time.

We choose together

Vessel options

About a month before departure we decide together which vessel to take. That choice affects the price, cabin comfort, and life on board. Below are three options with cost ranges and key differences.
Small Yacht · 30–40 ft
Small Yacht · 30–40 ft. Best for 4–6 people. Most affordable option: charter from €2,800/week — about €467/person at full capacity. Nimble, reaches small coves and shallow marinas that larger boats cannot. Downsides: compact saloon, less deck space.
Large Yacht · 40–45 ft
Large Yacht · 40–45 ft. Optimal space-to-cost balance for 6–8 people. Charter from €4,000/week — about €500/person. Spacious saloon, separate cabins with double berths, wide swim platform. More stable offshore, more comfortable in chop.
Catamaran · 40–45 ft
Catamaran · 40–45 ft. Maximum space and stability. Four separate cabins, two bathrooms, wide trampolines between hulls. Charter from €5,500/week — about €700/person. Barely rocks — ideal for those prone to seasickness. Large open deck perfect for working and relaxing outdoors.

«Gentlemen, that was awesome! One of the best non-vacations of my life. Thank you all!»

«Yes, and I would go as a sailor a couple more times, but I will definitely go, because what I saw, even with the prospect of reduced libations, completely ruined all other possible types of sea recreation.»

«It was my first time on a yacht, and I was worried it would be boring or I'd get seasick, but my concerns were completely unfounded. The sea, sun, fresh air, good company, absence of unnecessary people, sounds and events allowed me to reboot and rethink a lot. The sense of freedom that a yacht gives you is incomparable to anything else.»
